The Baltimore Ravens and WR DeAndre Hopkins agreed to terms on a contract, executive vice president and general manager Eric DeCosta announced Thursday.

A five-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro, Hopkins will be available in a podium setting at the Under Armour Performance Center on Friday (March 14) at a time to be determined. (A media advisory with details will be sent later today.)

Stated DeCosta on Hopkins:

“We are happy to bring DeAndre Hopkins to the Ravens. ‘D-Hop’ is a player whom we have competed against and admired for a long time. He fits our style of play and is another weapon for our offense. We are excited to watch him play and congratulate DeAndre and his family.”

Here are several notes about the 6-1, 212-pound Hopkins, who joins the Ravens for his 13th NFL season:

 • Hopkins, 32, played in 15 games (six for Tennessee and nine for Kansas City) in 2024, totaling 56 receptions for 610 receiving yards (10.9 avg.) and five touchdowns. Playing in his first-career Super Bowl (LIX vs. Philadelphia), Hopkins became the second wide receiver in Super Bowl history (Danny Amendola in SB LI vs. Atl.) to record a receiving touchdown and a two-point conversion in the same game.

• Hopkins has appeared in 178 regular season games, recording 984 receptions for 12,965 yards (13.2 avg.) and 83 touchdowns. He has also played in nine playoff games, posting 475 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 40 receptions.

• Among active NFL players, DeAndre ranks first in receiving yards (12,965), targets (1,585) and first-down receptions (677), while he is second in both overall receptions (984) and catches of 25-plus yards (117). His 83 touchdown catches stand third among active players.

• Hopkins has recorded a catch in each of the 178 regular season games in which he’s played, marking the NFL’s second-longest streak to ever begin a career (Marvin Harrison Sr. – 190 games).

• Hopkins was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the first round (27th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent his first seven seasons with the Texans, was traded to the Cardinals in 2020 and then signed with Tennessee as a free agent in 2023, before being traded to the Chiefs in October of 2024.

• Prior to the NFL, DeAndre saw action in 39 games over three seasons (2010-12) at Clemson, tallying 3,020 receiving yards and a school-record-tying 27 touchdowns on 206 receptions. In his final year with the Tigers, Hopkins recorded an ACC-record 18 touchdown catches.

• A Central, S.C., native, Hopkins attended D.W. Daniel High School, where he played football, basketball and participated in track and field, winning the South Carolina state championship in football as a senior (2009).
