Corn Review |
Short-term price fluctuations do not influence long-term trends, cycles, and profitability. The majority, guided by price trends and emotions, concentrate on short-term trading noise rather than cyclical trends of price, time, and energy. This focus creates confusion, frustration, missed chances, and typically leaves them holding the bag during trend shifts. Investors can sidestep this pattern by embracing the Evolution of the Trade and aligning with the minority.
Corn’s overall trend, revealed by trends of price, leverage, and time, are defined and discussed in The Matrix for subscribers.

“Top Gun rules of engagement exists for your safety and for that of your team. They are not flexible, nor am I. Either obey them, or you’re history. Is that clear?”
A high percentage of our readers, followers, and subscribers fail to adhere to the Evolution of the Trade (EOT), our rules of engagement that defines the strict discipline necessary to survive. This majority, unfortunately, solidifies their role as bag holders rather than flourishing and thriving.

What’s Corn Doing?
Don’t bother asking A.I.—it’s completely clueless.
Well it’s clear the market in 2025 has been nothing but a Macro/inflation trade. We are getting some very bullish cash/fundamental news and we see zero reaction and every rally is Sold.
MM is now short everything with a small long in corn.
Index just keeps selling rallies.…

As corn remains stagnant, frustration among the majority continues to mount—a sentiment reflected across social media, where Ag influencers connect with their audience to entertain, provoke, or profit.
We track the Evolution of the Trade, as fundamentals hold little relevance at the end of any trade. Many remain fixated on domestic fundamentals, neglecting critical factors like country, currency, trade, and war risks. For a deeper dive into European and war-related risks, please watch the Evolving Global Crisis in 2025. It’s a critical discussion overlooked by most of Ag.
Corn approached a finalized primary trend Flip in March, but late February selling restored the primary downtrend. While bears like embraced this trend, Insights (including all subscribers) remain less optimistic. The “Phase” column in the trends tab currently displays PDT1, or Primary Trend Decline 1. This indicates that the primary downtrend, now an aging trend, is no longer suitable for shorting the rallies. It’s time to adopt a pragmatic perspective and prepare for an upcoming primary trend shift. For more insights, don’t miss the latest updates to the Corn Report for a more in depth discussion.
Corn remains in a cause-building or consolidation phase, where the study of energy plays a pivotal role. Is the invisible hand accumulating to jump the creek, or distributing to break the ice? The Evolving Crisis in 2025 undoubtedly shifts the risks in ways that largely go unnoticed by the majority.
Cycle of Accumulation and Distribution
The timing factor currently restraining corn is retail participation. Retail traders, known for their poor timing, are overly optimistic. The chances of a bottom improve if they begin to sell, allowing smart money to continue accumulating. Any change on this front will be the next topic of discussion in the Corn Report.

While the majority chases trends in mainstream and social media, they overlook Adam Smith’s invisible hand. This subtle force refines timing for those who know how to interpret it—and we do.
