Apple chính thức “vĩnh biệt” iPad 2
Sau 3 năm “chiến đấu”, iPad 2 vừa được Apple “khai tử” và thay vào đó là chiếc iPad thế hệ thứ 4. Đây là động thái không lấy gì làm ngạc nhiên bởi hiện tại, thiết bị này có doanh số bán ra quá thấp.
Theo đó, iPad 2 đã được Apple gỡ xuống App Store và đưa iPad thế hệ thứ 4 – thiết bị từng ra mắt cùng với iPad mini vào năm 2012 – vào “thế chỗ”. Hiện tại, iPad thế hệ thứ 4 dung lượng bộ nhớ trong 16 GB sẽ được bán với giá 399 USD và 529 USD tương ứng cho bản Wi-Fi và 3G.
Việc khai tử iPad 2 sẽ đồng nghĩa rằng trên thị trường chỉ còn lại iPhone 4S là sử dụng chuẩn dock 30-pin cũ. Theo The Verge, Phần mềm download video cho android nhiều khả năng thiết bị này cũng sẽ “chịu chung số phận” với iPad 2 sớm, có thể là thời điểm ra mắt iPhone 6.
Cách đây ít ngày, Apple cũng vừa phiên bản 8 GB của iPhone 5c cho thị trường châu Âu nhằm đối phó với tình trạng suy giảm thị phần tại khu vực này.
