I was born curious, or as poet Les Murray put it "I am only interested in everything". After gaining degrees in earth science and theology, I worked as a teacher, writer, house-husband, minister and jam maker. I now work in the environmental interpretation/education area. I'm married to Lynne, and we have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. A passionate Tasmanian-by-choice, having moved here in 1980, I live in the shadow of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington, and get out into the bush as often as possible.
